Principal1 Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 I am currently running my stock bios(11/14/2005) Would it be beneficial to update to a newer version? If so, which one would be recommended? I am thinking about OC'ing my rig..but need to learn about it. Any help would be great! Thanks
tasr Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 Are you experiencing any issues? BIOS 2006/04/06 has new version of Memtest ver 1.65, your current BIOS evens supports dual core. If you must update your BIOS check out TMod’s CD. Tmod's Bios Flash CD & Utility CDs. It’s safe and easy.
Principal1 Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 No issues, but I am just learning about Bios's ...so the newer isn't always better with better features? Thanks, tasr
Harring10 Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 No issues, but I am just learning about Bios's ...so the newer isn't always better with better features? Thanks, tasr Hi All: I have the same board and I am using the DFI 4/06 BIOS. I have used TMod's CD on a couple of NF2 boards with great success for OCing. The problem is that I don't see any Bios's that are specific to the LP UT NF4 Ultra-D. When I tried to install the generic LP NF4 bios's it usually ended with a system that did not post. Should I be trying the SLI or Expert BIOS's? My sig is not accurate. I am running at 256x11 with a 1.5 Vcore with a 1/1 divider. TIA, Pete
