SLI-D doesnt boot after changing memory slots

Recommended Posts

Hi, first time to post here:)

First, english is not my primary language. so please forgive me I will make mistakes in my sentences:o

I flashed the BIOS "29/03/2006 Beta" yesterday and it was fine. Theres no problem at booting BIOS and Windows.

Next, i changed the memory slots yellow to orange, because everyone says orange slots are better.

Then i turned on my comp, BIOS doesnt boot! 3 Diagnostic LEDs lit and beeps didnt stop.

I tried everything i can now.

1: Clear CMOS and remove Battery for 8hours

2: 1 DIMM by every slots

3: tried 3 PSUs (Seasonic SS-550HT, Scythe Gouriki400, DELTA PSU)

But nothing has resolved:(

My mobo is dead?

The orange slots are preferred for 2x1GB Redlines.

About the only option you have left is trying a 24 hour CMOS clear.

With only the processor, video card and one stick of memory (in the orange slot furthest from the processor) installed, perform the CMOS clear.

Perform the clear as shown by the link in my sig. Pay particular attention to the use of a PS2 keyboard and the pressing of the Inset key.

Good luck.
