AMD Operton 185 CCBBE 0615

AMD Operton 185 CCBBE 0615.

On a scale of one to ten, what do you think my overclocking potential on that bad boy would be?

I'm thinking my friend is going to buy it for me since Newegg ran out of stock and he was going to buy it from there. We shall see though. I told him if it goes over what he's willing to pay for it I'll give him mine in exchange for the price difference and he said that's fine. So we'll see ;) Hopefully in around 2 weeks or less I'll be reporting in some numbers at or over 3Gs with it.

9 -10

I would spring on that if I had the cash.

Nice OC - that voltage is awesome! Could there be more in that chip? you definitely got yourself a winner.

I can only hope when i finish this water cooling setup that it will be, as we all know that some chips have a real solid overclock wall.

that 185 would be ideal because of the higher multiplier that's about all, a 165 can overclock just as good but at lower memory dividers, so your advantage would be running your memory 1:1 with that 185 :)

my opty does 3.1Ghz on water at the 150 divider.

The Muilti is the only reason why bought it over a cheaper version.:)

Actually i ordered a fx60 so that i could run my mem tight as could be but was to late & had to change my order

That's my figuring, the higher multi. Idealy i'd like to run it at 10x on the multi that way I know what I'm slappin' at it number wise straight out, no funky dividers or anything, but I may well use 12x just so I can get back in FX-60-like groove where I was happy.

To be honest, I'll be happy with 2.94GHz again, but I'll go bonkers if I finally get 3Gs.
