ArchVile Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 okay, well its not really a noob question, but still. now i know how t overclock yada yada yada. what i want to do is just run a really quick program that can check if your computer is stable at a certain clock speed. usually i use prime95, but i hate leaving my computer on for an entire night and seeing if its stable the next morning. is there a program that can make sure your OC is stable that doesnt take as much time? prosser13 Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 OCCT only takes 30 minutes
tasr Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 If you want sure fire proof of 8hr stable nothing can replace running a stable program for 8hr. I've seen to many prime run's fail at 7+ hrs. Prime95 is good but if you want to do an OCDB entry you need SP2004 for single core CPUs and Orthos for duel core CPUs
