Noob question about overclocking

Recommended Posts

okay, well its not really a noob question, but still. now i know how t overclock yada yada yada. what i want to do is just run a really quick program that can check if your computer is stable at a certain clock speed. usually i use prime95, but i hate leaving my computer on for an entire night and seeing if its stable the next morning. is there a program that can make sure your OC is stable that doesnt take as much time?

If you want sure fire proof of 8hr stable nothing can replace running a stable program for 8hr. I've seen to many prime run's fail at 7+ hrs.

Prime95 is good but if you want to do an OCDB entry you need SP2004 for single core CPUs and Orthos for duel core CPUs
