Mobo: DFI icfx3200 (RD600)

Controller: Onboard ATI

Drives: 2 x WD 160GB RE Sata 3.0gb/s 1 X WD 320GB Sata 3.0gb/s

Would it be possible to run the two 160GB in RAID 0 and then run then 320GB in RAID 1 along with the two 160Gb's that are in Raid0.

Is this a good idea performance wise?

Or should I just backup the two 160GB w/ the 320GB from time to time (clone disk)?

The best scenario is use the two 160GB in RAID 0 and image the array to the 320GB as a back up. The problem is as of right now no popular imaging software supports the ICFX3200 chipset yet.

Yea, that is what I was thinking Praz.

I have arconis true image 9 and it will allow me to copy from the array to a single HD, but not backward.

Is it even possible to run Raid1 with a exsisting raid0 array and another drive of equal size to the array ?
