wolverineI Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 like i said the 1t command per clock is iffy on some mobos and or processors with A64.i keep mine on a divider at 1t to around 240 since memory fsb is not holding you back with A64. wolverineI Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 1.425 volts vcore doesnt need better cooling.28c cpu,31c mobo,44c northbridge, havent put the evercool in yet.cpu does 2900 at stock voltages. my wifes asrock w 148 does 2850 at stock voltages.i keep my voltages down need to keep this running till AMD and DFI have a quad core and mobo combo i like the looks of.lapping the hs and ceramique have kept all 7 of my rigs running cool over the years.compared to my old tbird 1400 with the Iwill, these are refrigerators. wolverineI Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 not all cpus clock the same my wifes needs way too much voltage to keep stable 24/7 at 3.0 so i tend to keep hers at 2.

wolverineI Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 not all cpus are identical, nor will the same stepping produce the same clocks. drop all your settings to minimum and increase the cpu till it craps out.at the point where your cpu temps from voltage increase too much with no appreciable increase in clock, thats it.back off and enjoy your clock. the temp and voltage increase to gain 50 mhz is not worth it,unless you want to fly at 3.0 for the 2-3 months your overvolted and overheated cpu will last.
