bldegle2 Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 "can i rma my ram lol?" >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> of course you can, but not just because you want to or want to upgrade to DDR2. RMA is for bad/defective parts. LOL. baldy
godlyatheist Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 yeah i RMA'd my sticks once and they were lightning fast. If you email [email protected] they will respond within 15 min, i'm serious. After you get the RMA number just ship it to them and they will ship the replacement the day after they get it. It took less than a week to get mine back. btw, mine was a DOA from ebay
lenzo Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 why do people rma gskill ram then are they bad? i got 2x512ddr600 LA I've owned numerous dual channel sets of GSkill ram but had to RMA only one set about 2 months ago. I bought 2x512 DDR600's from Ebay about 8 months ago. As a set they failed on Memtest86 at 300fsb at advertised timings. They sat around for over half a year because I used HZ's instead. I finally decided to email GSkill support to see if they would honor their warranty even if it was second or third hand without an invoice. They said YES. I packed them up and shipped the set to them. A week later I got an email that they were received, but since they don't manufactor the DDR600 ram anymore, they asked if I'd be satisfied with an upgrade to 2x1g of ZX's instead. I agreed. They were on my doorstep 3 days later. Kudos for GSkill, I wont go anywhere else.
