Raid Array fix?

Recommended Posts

still , i cant even be stable at 2.4??

Have you tried one stick of memory ?

I have an expert board and 2x1 gig of G.skill HZs.

When I Try to run my Hz's in this single channel board it's a no go for me as well even at stock speed.

One stick runs great.

Does the games you play on that rig need two gigs ?

I know....I hate havin empty slots or memory layin around doin nothin as well.

But unlike those UCCC's, his sticks will top out way sooner. I assume a divider is being used to keep them near 200mhz for starters.

This is true..

Plus we don't know if he is loosening the timings if he is running at 220 or if he even knows how.

I could probably run my 2x1 gig kit in this board if I tweaked em enuf but I could tell right from the start it was gonna be trouble when I had to run 2t just to boot and since they were for my other rig why bother.

I did test them by themselves in this board and they kicked butt up to about 260 without tweaking them.

Check this thread.

And if you want to use a divider.
