When I try to get passed 2.5 my computer will not boot. I have tryed to up the volts to 1.50 and that still does not help.

HTT: x4

FSB:10x250

1.42V

That is all i need to get a stable 2.5ghz, when i try to push my FSB to 251 it will not boot.

Any help would be nice thanks!

Along the lines of what Glitch05 said, did you underclock your RAM before overclocking your CPU? Also, I actually found that by running stock timings, I couldn't underclock the RAM to overclock to CPU! But then I tried tight timings, 2-3-2-5 and I could underclock the RAM and overclock the CPU over 230....

I have the same problem with my setup going past 250, so i went with 240 x 11. Running great at 1.42, prime stable for 8 hrs. i'm new to this, so i don't know if this is a good setting. But you might try it.

PEOPLE, LOOK AT YOUR PSU'S!!!!!

You cant expect to get good overclocks on anything less than 600W. And if you do, You'll soon be buying new components as your PSU will burn down and kill your entire computer!
