Technohydra Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 This poll is simply a question of who do you like for memory, based on a combination of tech support, ease of use, and clocking potential.

ZOOMIE Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 I use both OCZ and G Skill - Both have been great to me and better than any of the others I've tried. I've no experience with G Skill service or tech support but I can say that OCZ has fantastic support.

laserred Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 I'm voting for Team Group, www.teamgroup.com.tw, mainly because their memory is doing everything the other "high rollers" is doing, at about 60% of the cost. I've had Kingston HyperX, Team, and OCZ, and I can say by far I am the most impressed with the Team stuff. My current set is 2GB PC4000 kit, rated 3-4-4-8@250MHz, but yet it's running 3-3-3-7@265MHz, and loosening up the timings has allowed it to go over 275MHz! It was only $228 shipped for the 2GB kit, when stuff like Corsair's PC4000 kit is something like $345 plus shipping. I just ordered a 1GB PC4800 kit, rated 2.5-3-3-6@300MHz, so we'll see how that goes. On top of that, every reviewer has loved the 2GB Micron kit, and they are very easy to clock high. I know they're not the highest clockable, nor the "name brand" everyone is used to, but on a performance/cost ratio I'd bet they're in the top 5%.
