Logitech G7. One less cord on my desk; very smooth; no lag response when coming out of "sleep". I initially wanted one more well placed side button - but it just made me better with the keyboard. I barely use the button on the side as it is. Perfect for me in every way.

I orignally voted for the mx518 but my 40 gig ipod kicked the bucket and betsbuy gave me a $500 store credit so I bought copperhead and it blows the mx518 out of the water. Not to mention the blue lights look sweet with my g15 and razer Hp1s :P.

I'm using a Microsoft optical trackball. I've thought about upgrading to another trackball, but I haven't found one yet that had the ball in the thumb position and four buttons + scrollwheel. I really like the two extra buttons because they function as back and forward buttons.

The G5 for me. It's easy to change the DPI, just press the buttons on the mouse. You can also change the weight of the mouse by adding or removing weights (I suppose you can do that on the g7 too). A buddy of mine has the razer diamondback which is very smooth but i don't like the feel of the mouse buttons.
