Hi, I got a DFI SLI DR since yesterday. When I do the FSB to 205 my harddisc won't be found or I get bluescreens or windows doesn't boot.

I had a Asus A8N Premium before, with this board I had my cpu at 1,[email protected],325V and my [email protected] 2,[email protected],7V

The ram have got 18 mistakes in memtest with a FSB at 205.

I don't know what to do, I think my bios ram settings aren't right, but I'm no expert I can only oc noob boards like my old one.

Do I have a big mistake in the bios ram timings? I did CAS Latency control from 3 to 2,5 an DRAM Frequency set to 200: 1/1

You must make a Signature in the USERCP before any can make any suggestions. Without that critical info (RAM part number/Video card/PSU(critical item) you cannot be helped. No one on the forum likes making shots in the dark. So.. enlighten us!!

Anyway... Welcome to "the Street":)

oh, sorry I forgot to tell I have got Elixir ram. My Sig should be online.

I think the board an the ram don't work good together.

Need a part number to figure out what you need to do next. :)

Here is the data sheet

once you give the part number info we can use the datasheet to see where to go with your mem sticks.

First set your memory divider to 200 MHZ (1:1)

your CPC -start with 2T

CAS 2.5 / Trcd 3 /Trp 3 / Tras 3

DRAM voltage - 2.6 V

That should get you started.

Can you take photos of your current GENIE BIOS settings (ALL) and post them so we will have a base reference?

Hi, thanks for all your help! I found the solution, however it's not that good for me. I have now my brothers ram in my pc, Aeneon ram, and they are working now with FSB 205. So I know my Elixir ram didn't work with the DFI board.

I'm glad that I finaly know the board is ok.

Is there a Bios for ram like Elixir? I tried 3 different bios until now.

29/03/2006 Beta

15/06/2005 Final

N4D704-2BT (BigToe Mod)

@erico

I will try it :)
