iamkoza Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 if you are looking to overclock, look into getting ddr2 800, Probably would be best to get a 2 gb kit (1 Gb x 2 sticks), or one 1Gb stick if you for sure don't want 2... OC Nooby Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 herd the E6400 was best for buck...i dont have the money to fork over for the 2 gig sticks. I could always get 2 stick and use them and get another later on. E6300 or E6400?
OC Nooby Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 anyone got any info on the rma i got...im not to good with intel as fsb is different....
ollietwinam Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 I really recommend 2 gB, and as iamkoza said, if not get one 1gb stick, as buying another 512 x 2 kit later one will leave you with four sticks of RAM which will affect your OC... I think E6400 is best bet

radodrill Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 I personally like OCZ RAM and would definitely recommend a 2x1Gb Dual-Channel kit. Other well known brands are Corsair and GEIL. On a side note: you might want to take into consideration that there are OCZ and Corsair REPs here on the Street
