G.I. JOE Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Hi guys, I was wondering if the lanparty pro875b (note: NOT revision B) can handle the upgrade from a 9800 AIW to an X800 XT AIW. WintersFury Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Well the newer agp cards all have either molex or floppy plugs on the back to get enough juice to the card. Heck my 9800Pro had a molex on it and the x1600Pro I upgraded to does as well, and for some reason that old system gives higher SM2/3 scores in 3DMark06 at stock than my pci-e one on the new system. Guess it's that agp arpeture or something *shrug* Just make sure you plug in any extra power cables and you should be good to go.
