Looks nice, but wouldn't fit my board.

But I still want it because it is shiny.

Did you see that the unit can slide along the clips to adjust for larger heatsinks and stuff? Very nice touch.

i got crabs...

:eek2: I wouldn't admit to it :shake:

performance-pcs.com ROCKS!!!

corsair dominator fans.

you can get those for like 20$

Do those work with any kit, or just the Corsair ones? Got some linkage to the cooler for sale?

which will OBVIOUSLY be cheaper in price then the ocz fans

hell.. want cheaper? hang a 120 fan. or ziptie 2 80z and hover them over ram.

Vivian @ Corsair shipped me a couple of these, should be here by Monday.

They supposed to be for Dominator series DDR2, but you know me, I'll try to modify them to fit everything if possible lol

Looks like somebody else can't sleep after eating all that food...

I was browsing the the Dominator cooler and found it here @ performance PC's:

http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/ind...=index&cPath=43

There's a few others there, like the crab, Tt's version, etc.

While you're there check out the new GTX 480:

Whatever happened to ghetto.. I'll take the 80/120mm fan any day :D

DDR2 with 2.45v is only warm when not pushed to it's extremes, that means everyday clocks don't require active cooling (especially if you only use say 2.3v).

The Dominator has them to ensure case conditions do not impede the ram from delivering it's rated speeds/timings.

Where to you buy one from? Got linkage?

Let us know how it works out for you...

Guys, I added a few URL to the first post in this thread where you might be able to pick one of these up. They seem to be hard to find, so if you PM me or post a linky, I'll add it to the list:)

Cheers!

I'm wondering what are the specs on the fans used in both the Dominator and OCZ. I've also been thinking about making a knock off version of the OCZ one for myself not to save money but because I just have to much time on my hands right now. :D
