Miami area is just sad =(

Most likely we'll be the last ones getting those nice services.

Most you can get in the area is 6/512 (for DSL), for comcast, u can get 8/768

In my experience, you go with DSL for Reliability

and Cable for Speed.

I see fiber coming here within the next say..........20 years.

I don't know why my desktop got a little bit slower download speed but it beat my laptop in upload speed. I'm happy with those speeds. :)

:) Happy? Really? If only 1) we could get those speeds at home for a reasonable price, and 2) our favorite websites would serve those kinds of speeds on average, then ... nirvana ...

That would be awesome if people could get these speeds at home.

I am currently using SuddenLink cable with 5MB down, 768K up. Tested last night and it is quite close to rated speed with 5,034 down, 740K up.

I am hoping that either Verizon will be able to work their way into my area soon. I'm itching to get a faster service without having to pay an arm and a leg to get it.
