sTeeLzor Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 Went from a wall at 378 up to booting into windows at 412(havent had mroe than 30 minutes to play wiht the overclocking not too sure how high i can get) I can boot at 425 but doesnt wanna go into windows E6600 with Corsair Value RAM( 2 x1 gb sticks)
Rroff Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 So far no cold boot issues and seems to perform slightly better than old BIOS - however its taking awhile to first power on - generally around 30 seconds after hitting the power button it just sits there clicking away before finally coming to life - once took 2 minutes... however I'd rather have that than the other cold boot problem.... just scared one day it won't boot at all (as happened to my first infinity 975X)
sTeeLzor Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 After initial Overclock waiting like 30 seconds, i havent come across the length time thing again. I did the non-Diamond Multilmedia one. Does this matteR?
Rroff Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 Yeah I get that same wait like the initial boot after overclocking - but every time I start up if the PC has been off for more than a few minutes... its not too much of a pain aslong as it actually boots Also just noticed with this BIOS my RAM read speeds are up almost 500MB/s and write speeds up by ~300MB/s tho the latency is pretty much unchanged.
