Nightshadow Posted January 4, 2007 while on the subject of MR2's guy locally has thishttp://cars.com/go/search/detail/photos/mu...cc&aff=national can you customize this car I mean it looks like pretty nice condition actually just the rims is killing me. and how is what he wants to charge for it. I wish I could get a 90's model but there are non locally plus they go for quite a few bucks. -Matt That looks like a clean mk1. Yes, the mk2 mr2's can go for quite a bit.. You have to search to find a good deal. You can pick up a non-turbo with low miles for around 3k or a '91 turbo for around 6k. The 93+ Turbo's are the one that are sought after the most
Nightshadow Posted January 4, 2007 OMFGThat is the BIGGEST turbo I've ever seen WOW. That thing looks home built. Here are some pics of a big turbo http://photos.ebizautos.com/4815/1103654_22.jpg http://photos.ebizautos.com/4815/1103654_17.jpg http://photos.ebizautos.com/4815/1103654_2.jpg http://photos.ebizautos.com/4815/1103654_20.jpg I know... Just another supra.. But this paticular supra makes 1520 RWHP and is street driven.
Thraxz Posted January 4, 2007 You'll notice how the cone is crushed from all the negative pressure from that huge effing turbo. I'm pretty certain that supra's not on pump gas

uneedav8 Posted January 4, 2007 At least he has an air filter :tooth: Thats awesome, I love the look of those shootout cars. I would love to start that thing up and drive it around the neighborhood. That turbo impeller may suck in a few small neighborhood animals or kids when I drive it around the block = )

Sorrento Posted January 4, 2007 He does. I dont remember exactly, but i think its from some sort of ship (possibly a submarine). It could be the turbo for the diesel engine of one of those HUGE excavation machines... the ones that we see in The Discovery Channel Submarine would have a diesel engine and I don't think they had so big engines. It could be a tugboat's engine turbo... but the ones I have see are way smaller, but there are some huge tugboats out there (again, shown in The Discovery Channel :tooth: ) with engines that probably require something that big.
