Oc_Stone_AMD Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 I just got my X1950 Pro 256MB and catalyst controll when i move the gpu speed up and click set it gose right back to defalt same with ati tray tools and ati tool ... just wondering if anyone knows of a bios for this card that can unlock it ... it says it has X1950 Gpu and when i look at some other X1950 , X1950XTX they say they have X1900 Gpu so im thinking it can do something good if it can be unlocked or if theres any other tools to try with ati card .... If anybody knows anything about please let me know

If anybody knows anything about please let me know If overclocking enabled in the CCC then when the card goes into 3D mode it will over ride any settings you make with other OC utilities and fall back to the OC setting in the CCC. ATI cards can be a real pain in the butt to OC outside of the CCC sometimes. I am testing an x1950XTX 512Mb at the moment with the Cat 6.10 drivers with the Control Panel from the latest FireGL drivers (the CCC is not installed) and using RivaTuner 16.1 with no problems at all.
