What are your temps?

i wouldn't trust smart guardian i guess.

now, at night is 28C,(and i live on a hill) rarely goes up, cause i dont play a lot of 'intense' games lately.

Usually temps are 32c (idle) to 40+

i have a good fan i guess, and my side panel is open.

I've been pushing my 3200+ Orleans @3.04 GHz with 1.65v Vcore for the past 2 months under watercooling. I wonder what's the longterm implication, though it runs quite cool with water, full load at just 50 c using CoreTemp.

Your plain crazy or you have enough moeny to swap that sucker when it pops.

I use water and 1.45 volts, I barely break 30c.

I would have to agree that running at anything around 1.6v made

me a little uncomfortable with my idle/load temps. My sig represents where I'm at presently.

Nope, not crazy nor overflowing with cash, i just think that as long i can keep the temp within reasonable level, the rather high Vcore wouldn't hurt, eventhough i must say the chip longevity must have got reduced somehow.

And i believe it's not the voltage, but HEAT as your chief OCing enemy, CMIIW.

I'll agree with you heat is a big time enemy.

High voltage can kill a chip regardless of temps.

From what I've seen in my limited time ocing is that some chips(Sledgehammer cores) require/accept alot more voltage than others can tolerate.
