Finally reached my Goal

Recommended Posts

Nice, thats virtually what i have, LOL. (well, cpu, ram, dvdrw, sound :P)

What stepping did you get?

Those temps look good for full load, 41C, mine gets to about 47-48C at 1.52V but just like you, am more than happy running FX-60 speeds!

Nice work!

Thanks EllisD. My stepping is CCBWE 0607UPBW.

It's one of the "avoid" cpu's. That'll teach me to jump on an ebay sale when it's

got 5 minutes left and not checking the stepping.

Oh yes, I'm very happy running at FX60 speeds. This board is very finicky.

It took a lot of time, being upset, tweaks and research to get it right.

The best thing I did was plug in the floppy power connector on the board.

I was under the impression it was for running crossfire only.

It totally helped me get stable at this speed.

Nice work man!

What are your 06 results? I found that the score actually decreased the higher the CPU clock is. Wondering if you found the same.

I have yet to run 06, I'll try it tonight. BF2142 is calling my name though

I have found that anything past 2.7 for my chip doesn't make a huge difference with 3D Mark. Though it does increase, but the increase isn't really worth the extra volts to my chip.

I found that when i was at 2.4Ghz with my 1900XT overclocked, my scores were about 200-300pts higher than at 2.6 with the same video card clock. Definetly odd but whateva, a benchmark is just a benchmark.
