thewoolleyman Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 Hi, I am wanting to put together a good-value good-performance system. I have read about dual-channel on tomshardware, and it looks like a good cost-efficient way to boost performance, but I'm still confused about the how fsb/memory speeds/etc fit together for the best config. If anyone could point me to some good sources of info where I can research Dual-channel and DDR pros/cons, I would greatly appreciate it. I want to have an Athlon system (2600 currently looks like a good price point) with a gig of memory. Thanks, Chad

ClayMeow Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 just some little advice. Memory sold and marketed as "dual-channel" memory means nothing. Dual-channeling has to do with the mobo, so don't be fooled.
