supageek Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Does anyone know what coolers fit this mobo? Such as the scythe ninja, zalman 9500, and the tuniq. Would I have any problems installing any one of these on this mobo?

Spunkmeyer6 Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Scythe Ninja plus now, previously an Arctic Freezer 64 Pro. To be honest I think most of the 939 coolers will fit no problem, just using the centre lug as opposed to the 3 on the 939.

My temps are about 29C idle and 40C load. I'm still looking for a good chipset cooler though. The NF4 runs pretty hot. If you run across anything good, let me know. Good luck with the new system. knosek Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 here is a review for a chipset cooler http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=63117 James, thanks for the info on the chipset cooler. Looks like the real deal. Do you have any idea where to buy one. i've checked the web and can't seem to locate the SLI version. It has to be the offset one to work with my 1900XT. Thanks, Ken

supageek Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 Yeah Im looking to purchase the scythe ninja, current have a zalman 7700alcu for socket 939. Havent tried installing it on the am2 board, so dont really know if its compatible. Ive thought about getting the zalman 9500 am2 but read reviews on the ninja and saw how efficient of a cooler it is so yes Im going out to but the ninja in a few days. Does anyone have the ninja on the infinity board?
