Hi guys!

 

i'm fairly new to overclocking computer. I just recently bought the x2 4400, and today i finally have time to sit down and start my overclocking.

 

and i can't seem to get it to boot up when i tried to overclcok it to 2.6ghz.

 

can someone help me with this..

welcome to this fantabulous world my friend :)

 

key points to remember:

 

a) just because your neighbour who has exactly the same setup hits 3ghz doesnt mean you will, each case differs

B) good to backup everything on harddrive because after restarting several times etc etc you windows OS could corrupt

c) have tons of patience, remember its trial n error

d) concentrate on 1 component at a time for example a) cpu then B) Ram

e) use software such as Prime95 to find out if your overclock is stable

Don't expect too much out of that stepping.I had a CCBWE 0607 that was good to about

2.6-2.7 ghzYMMV.I sold it and picked up the CCBBE 0610DPMW i'm running now.
