EVGA 7800GT CO 470/1100 Stock 1.4V now its 482/1200, and voltmodded bios to 1.5V i think or .5V i forget. Anyway, after ive gotten this 3800 and oc'ed it, and i think i may of changed the pci-e freq i forget, now after 5minutes of playing Counter-Strike Source at basically high settings at 1204x768 or w.e my computer stops, goes black and restarts... why? is my video card dying? is it too much overclocked? it does have the accelero x1, and the temps are not high *50C when playing i think. If that works you can check your video card with the 3DMark series. crap, i just did memtest, and it got like 7 errors at the end of Test 5. i have a screenshot i can post up if needed, but it was like 0.0MB, 0.9MB, then good then bad, etc,etc. What should I do? fps_shawn Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 Ok i read that this other guy had to have his at 2.7 or 2.8 v, and mine was 2.62 or w.e now its 2.7 will go play css for a bit see if it crashes then try memtest again. also read that these sticks never should be "auto" on bios settings, and that if u leave the settings the same with errors they will grow? At least then you can enjoy your OC (it'll only cost you a few % in performance). The thread i've linked to should have some stock settings (if you're running on a divider) - but they are really good over there and will definately sort you out some timings for your setup...
