Voltes-5 Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 I'm building a new system and got the components last week. Infinity/6600/Ballistix/XFX8800GTS. Have not built it yet, currently wanting to see how it compares to the Expert/Opty. Testing the 8800 on the system on rig right now. Will post results when done. Praz Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 This is probably as good as it going to get with the settings in my sig and the video card at stock settings. V-Sync On: V-Sync Off:
CharmedLover84 Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Try settin' that sucker to 600/1900. If it don't pass (and run better) at those clocks I'll be surprised, cuz mine seems very happy right there. 610/1920 seems to be the limit of stability with no modifications though, anything higher than that and the scores start goin' down. I'll addja all later.
Thraxz Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Got the Conroe up to 3GHz on a single stick of DDR800 ram, prime stable for a few minutes. This is far from a real OC but it's only the temps ont he stock cooler than made me shut it off. Just gonna bench the bastard and see how she flies when I get FEAR d/led. (BTW the video card OC on this board isn't nearly as good at the others.)

Thraxz Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Initial run at 3.0Ghz/833Mhz/730/850 = 118FPS. Looks like no 130FPS for me. However, I intend on getting over 125 when all is said and done.
