Anyone tried these HSF?

Recommended Posts

I used this Artic Freezer Pro 64 and replaced the stock fan with a low speed paniflo. Its on a naked Opty 146 running 290x10 at 1.45 volts. Runs 27 idle and 38 full load in a 70 degree ambiant room and its very quiet. Also very cheap to buy pricewise.

Its doubtful that i will ever use Arctic products again as the fan that fell off my HS was made by them.. it had been on less than a week and then i found it laying in the bottom of my case, sooo glad i had a window... and no it was not due to mounting it.... it broke loose from the actual mounting bracket it came with, seems the rubber dry rotted and then fell apart... i was so disappointed.. i had bought it new from svc.com

I didn't care for the rubber mounts either and thats one reason I changed to the fan of my choice and strapped it on with zip ties. But it does work well I must admit.

Thanks EP!

I was running MemTest all day and benchmarks for my new RAM, so I didn't see this right away. I've never dealt with SVC, so are they any good?

yes, they are really good. they are good friends of dfi-street. if you decide to buy something from them, be sure to use the link in Happy's sig to get there so that the street will get a kickback from your purchase.
