I can't answer your first question, but here are the answers to 2-3:

2: Yes, you can buy any other 512 meg DDR stick. Any. However, your board will be tied down by the speed of the slowest RAM on your system. So if you bought that 2.5, and your other stick can't handle 2.5, then you can't use it to its full potential.

3: On my NF2 board, there is an option in the bios called "System BUS" or something to that effect (I'm at school and can't check exactly). It's ussually on the same page as the multiplier and RAM/AGP settings.

Also, isn't 184(368) a very...uh...strange FSB for you to be at if you haven't overclocked it? How, exactly, did the FSB get to that point?

hey thanks for the replies. trios, i did oc my fsb... i might have made an error and said i didn't... but i di. the multi is stock, which is 12.5, and the fsb is at 184. 12.5 x 184 = 2300 whichis what the cpu is at right now.... see the thing is, i can't get my fsb up any more. the vcore is at 1.7 right now. if i up the fsb any more it crashes randomly, so iw as thinking of lowering the multiplier and increasing the fsb to like 200+. is this a good idea? Please let me know, thanks for the help again..

That's just one of those things you have to play around with until you find a good balance. A lot of people seem to end up with an FSB around 190-210 give or take, just have to tinker till you find the sweet spot, besides, thats the fun part.

ok i see what you mean. but my question is, lets say my comp is at 12.5 multi times 184 fsb = 2300mhz

if i increase the 184 to 186, the system in not stable... so will lowering the multiplier to 11.5 and then raising the fsb to 186 make it stable? and allow me to increase the fsb more?

Ps voltage is increased to 1.7 already

i have to do this with my system...im at 10.5 at 185 right now.....at 1.6 try it....and also maybe adjust your ram timings ... yours are very aggresive right now.....try 5 3 3 2 or 2.5 ... my ram wont run at 2 ...only 2.5
