Ziggy54354 Posted November 2, 2003 Posted November 2, 2003 I built a computer for a customer about 2 months back. Hes yet to pay me and he blocked me on aim... so i doubt he has intentions of paying me. However i have his credit card number AND all his credit info. If you guys were in my situation what would u do? I do kinda want a radeon 9800 XT and some massive cooling solution on it
sykocus Posted November 2, 2003 Posted November 2, 2003 don't mean to sound too obvious, but bill his credit card
TypicalSloan Posted November 2, 2003 Posted November 2, 2003 I would definetly bill him, did he sign any kind of contract? just incase he decides to dispute the charge u put on there. That way u could say "u signed this saying u were goin to pay and u didnt"
Propane Posted November 2, 2003 Posted November 2, 2003 as long as you did what you told him you were going to do then charge it.
Ziggy54354 Posted November 2, 2003 Posted November 2, 2003 (edited) there was nothing formal, no contract, no signing of anything. He just gave me the money for parts and i built it and he said he would pay commission later so i dont know if "billing" him would be legal or not. plus i dont have a credit card myself or a PP account so i cant exactly send the money anywhere Edited November 2, 2003 by Ziggy54354

AxcesDenyed Posted November 3, 2003 Posted November 3, 2003 i disagree, if you dont have any contract with him and charge his credit card anyway then he could probably sue you and win. its your word against his. charging his cc would just make you look bad. my advice is to sue him first. Guest FxXP Posted November 3, 2003 Posted November 3, 2003 Without some kind of legal paperwork to prove your claim unlike doing this deal under the table, you have no case. End of story.
Agallion Posted November 3, 2003 Posted November 3, 2003 fidn where he lives .bang on the door and ask for ur money,,that or go to small claims court
Propane Posted November 3, 2003 Posted November 3, 2003 Just cal him, mail him e-mail him. Just ask if he is planing on paying you and ask by when. If he says never sue him (which would really suck).
