HD recording video card?

I am trying to figure out a way to get the HD recordings from my DVR onto my PC. The DVR is through TimeWarner and is a Scientific Atlanta 8300HD. I haven't found any video cards that allow a YPbPr or HDMI type input, only S-video (SD). Does anyone know how this can be done? I have read that the hard drive inside the DVR is encrypted and even if you add an external SATA drive it will be encrypted as well. I really want to save some of these recordings before I run out of space! DiscoveryHD is my new favorite channel.

I can't believe no one records HD stuff to their PC.

I do but I use an OnAir GT from http://www.autumnwave.com/. Never used a box from the cable company so I only get the unecrypted QAM channels from Comcast.

I'm not sure about a video card, but I remember seeing a HD TV Tuner on NewEgg. That may have a breakout box with HD Inputs on it. You may have to look into that end of things.

Check out SIIG (Newegg, etc.). They make some nice exterior boxes for very specific recording and video uses.
