The xp-120 absolutly owns when you add a 120mm fan to it! Another good one is the thermaltake big typhoon. And last but not least is the scythe ninja.

The other heatsink is a no-name brand with a simple design. Finned HS + Fan.
not exactly a "no-name" brand. alpha was a very good cooler, in its day. and its day was about 5-10 years ago. they were one of the first to integrate copper into the base to help with heat distribution. unfortunately, they dont seem to have kept up in the last few years. i had an alpha cooler on my P3 and my P4 when i first owned them. but since then my P4 now has a scythe ninja (lowered the temps on my 3.0Ghz P4 about 8C at full load running at 3.5Ghz - the machine is a SETI cruncher 24/7) and i use a zalman HSF on my main computer.

What 5% coupon!? Daddy needs a new pairs of waterblocks!

Yes, what coupon? The maxpcjuly coupon is not longer valid, and I've tried variations of August, September and October to no avail. I even had a thread going for a new coupon, but nobody seemed to know of one... :(
