Are you using a PS2, USB or wireless keyboard? At any rate there shouldn't be any BIOS settings that need changed just to power your keyboard.

I am useing a ps/2 and it works because that is what I am typing with now.

No. I am on another computer but the dfi board still does not power the keyboard. Did the clear cmos thing again this time there is only 1 red led on but still no video. Have tried three different cards, 2 PCI-EX, 1 PCI.

Talking about keyboard, I was using a KVM to share the monitor,keyboard and mouse for two computers. After all kinds of tests, I finally figured out that it is the KVM that gave me big boot trouble.

Installed the knew one without a problem. Now on to learn about overclocking.

Glad that your problem is resolved. Sounds like the RMA process was pretty fast and fairly painless (your labor hours excluded )

 

Good luck with your new gear. If you are getting into overclocking I'd highly recommend you take a read of the DFI A64 Overclocking Guide here at the Street. It's a great resource, and has tons of valuable information regardless of whether you plan on overclocking or not.
