red930 Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 So you have ran both memory in dual channel (Which slotted dimms [yellow or orange]) and memtest would work just fine? Which test did you perform and for how long? I would do TEST#5 since that is a very extreme memory torture, run it about 35-40 times. Also there is a diagnostic LED at the bottom left of your board. Have you noticed any red LED'S stay on after POST (after the beep)? Finally if you haven't connected all of your power plugs to the motherboard please do so (four to be exact [24pin, 4pin(12v), 4pin(molex), and 4pin(floppy)]. Another thing, before you attempt any suggestions here, please go into the bios and set the "optimized default settings" and save and exit, then go back and change the four primary timings for your memory and check how much vdimm (memory voltage) your memory needs at stock. Please do run your system at stock. GOOD LUCK!

Baditude Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 You need all 4 power connectors plugged into the motherboard . The 24 pin, 4pin square, 4 pin rectangler, and a small 4 pin floppy power connector.
