System won't post

Recommended Posts

I was running my system at stock speeds, then loaded an OC from my cmos bank. Couple days after that my computer doesn't post. Hangs at 3 leds. I've tried the official cmos clear for 16 hours. Tried to boot with only one RAM dimm. Nothing seems to help. Now I'm stuck and don't know what to do. Please I need some help. Thanks

How to read the LED’s

4 LEDs on = Power applied, checking CPU

3 LEDs on = CPU has been detected OK, checking RAM

2 LEDs on = RAM has been detected OK, checking VGA

1 LED on = VGA has been detected OK, entering BIOS

0 LEDs on = System has booted to the Operating System

Try 1 stick of memory at a time in the orange slot closet to the edge.

Try a different memory module.

Did you do another CMOS clear. Only load defaults settings.

Chill man. Lowboy is justing asking a question to ascertain where you're at right now. I know it's frustrating, been there myself, as have many folks here. Wish I had the answer for you, but, if you stay calm, maybe someone will. They won't if you continue to make posts like that.
