Side panel mod/replacement ?Mesh?

After a failed mod I now have several pieces of angular shaped perspecs and a side panel with a window sized hole in it. Does anyone have an ideas of what i could do to fill the hole? windows? mesh? funky idea youve just had?

 

I was thinking some sort of mesh might look good, but the only mesh I could find is the modders mesh which isn’t big enough. Does anyone know where i could get a reltivly sturdy mesh thats 2ft by 2ft (ish) in the uk?

 

If not does anyone know where i could get a side panel that would fit my Aspire X-navigator which isnt the stock model.

Hmm, exactly how big is the window sized hole? Ive always wanted to put a 7 or 9inch LCD into the side, prefably with speakers (built into the LCD) with cable.sattelite (basically whatever you have for tv/cable provider. My case sits on my desk so it would work out pretty well for me.

I dont want 4x1 because it would overlap and not look as good but i may have to if no one knows of anything better

 

Putting a small screen(7-9inch) in would be cool. Any idea how exspensive/hard it would be?

Expensive? well whatever the LCD cost's, no idea really, i dont consider those things when ideas pop into my head. i dont think it would be very hard tbh, just mesh the side panel, use a dremel to cut out the desired area of the LCD, and think of a creative wat to fasten it (mesh would be best IMO because the monitor would generate some heat, not alot but some)

AC Ryan makes 500x500mm mesh. They come in black or silver. If want to mount fans, I would recommend the MNPCTech mesh because it is a lot less restrictive. The AC Ryan mesh is more restrictive with smaller holes but is quite sturdy.
