lowboy Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Check the databases here on forum for settings for you memory. Also try booting with only 1 stick of ram in slots furthest from cpu. Also look here for settings:http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=
dark79 Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 I have 2 RS482 boards. One of them ran GSkill UCCC (GBHZ) just fine. I tried using TCCD (Patriot XBLK) in the other and got blue screens or no post if I had them in the first 2 slots. I moved them to the 2 slots farthest away from the processor and it was fine after that.
sdif18 Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 I have to test all the slots, if I desynchronize into 6/5 A 280mhz that functions but not into 1/1 same A 2.9v
olympic Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 I have an RS482 and I could not get it to work properly with OCZ PC4800 TCCD RAM. There were thousands of Memtest errors immediately no matter what slots I used or settings I changed. So I installed some Kingston value RAM (on a divider) and it works great! noznika01 Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 I recently bought this board and I'm using Patriot XBLK TCCD 2x512 with no issues, so far. I must say that I'm using it at stock speeds, so far
Angry_Games Posted October 28, 2006 Posted October 28, 2006 I have a 2x1GB kit of OCZ PC4000 Gold EL (UCCC) in my RS482 HTPC
p0tter Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 I have used UCCC and TCCD without problems. I would suggest flashing, ONLY IF you can get it stable (borrow some memory). I am using 82DMD321. DFI RS482 bios USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
