darkerick Posted October 29, 2003 Posted October 29, 2003 And it requires you to have four holes around the CPU. Well I dont see those. I just see the default black thingy that you plug your heatsink into.
Guest FxXP Posted October 29, 2003 Posted October 29, 2003 The four holes are used to mount the bracket for the Intel HSF. Just remove the bracket and you have your four holes.

exeter_acres Posted October 29, 2003 Posted October 29, 2003 Nutty I know.... But here are some directions......
darkerick Posted October 29, 2003 Posted October 29, 2003 Can Somone tell me some of their temps with this thermalright SP-94. Because I want to overclock to 250 fsb without hitting 55 degrees.
Nuclear Posted October 29, 2003 Posted October 29, 2003 During the 5-6 days I ran my SP-94 w/ 92MM Tornado I saw temps under load of about 45-46C. You should never see temps higher than 50C with a SP-94, even with a low rpm fan. It worked really good, but I got tired of the air-cooling noise. Good Luck with it man. darkerick Posted October 29, 2003 Posted October 29, 2003 thanks. But could you teach me something. What is idle and load. Whats suppposed to be higher? Lower?
AYoKoNA Posted October 29, 2003 Posted October 29, 2003 idle is when the comp is not doing anything. Load is when you make the processor work a certain capacity. Like a motor, there is idle, when u sit still, and load when you floor the car!
Nuclear Posted October 29, 2003 Posted October 29, 2003 Yup, what ^^ said. Load would also be while playing a game, or running a benchmark, or some other test. Idle is just sitting there, no work being done. Load should be higher than idle. With air-cooling you could see as much as I 10C jump from idle to load. Just for reference.
