Xero Posted October 31, 2003 Posted October 31, 2003 for printers i swear by HP Deskjets. i have a 950C thats around a year old. i payed 200 for it, but now u can probably find them for 1/2 that. right now there is a HP Deskjet 5150 for 100 bucks. Up to 4800 x 1200 dpi, 19ppm blk, and 14ppm color. i have also found through prior experience that HP support is very good when it comes to scanners and printers (unlike there computers/laptops), and if u ever return a printer/scanner, they ALWAYS give me the high end model if theres really something wrong with it. H2O Posted October 31, 2003 Posted October 31, 2003 I have to say HP all the way... I've had an HP Deskjet 952C for 3 yrs going on 4 in a couple of months and I never had any problems! It works like a charm and unlike a lot of brands I have no problem with setting it up as a network printer. Color as well as b/w printing is great, but I've never tried the photo printing features. Back then I paid a pretty penny for it, I would guess by now you should be able to pick it up for cheap!
