Athlon Celron Duron Pentium Pro Pentium II Pentium III Pentium IV Xeon Athlon XP Athlon 64 FX Opteron Itanium Cyrux Via G4 If you are asking for any of the modern processors, there are a TON of threads here in the cooling forum to help answer that. - Mainly the Thermalright SLK900 w/ a 92mm Vantec Tornado

IUMaestro Posted October 29, 2003 Posted October 29, 2003 for a 2700+ you'd be fine going with the Thermalright SLK900 and a 92mm high speed fan... Personally for my 3000+ I'm using a ThermalTake Volcano 11+ It all depends on what you wanna spend and the research you do. I'm very happy with my Volcano 11+ as I get default idle temps of 15C and load of 25C.. Just search the colling section of the forum for the vast amounts of opinions that have been posted time and time again and use those to decide what's best for you. Dignan Posted October 29, 2003 Posted October 29, 2003 Pardon me but 15 degrees C is 59 F and that is colder then pretty much any room temp, I know the V11 is good but that is impossible. plus 25 C is like 76 -77 F and my room can get that hot with all my comps on. Please post accurate CPU temps, they could be quite misleading for someone new to OCing. Also if you mislabeled them from MB temps please change post to reflect that.
