Louie57703 Posted October 28, 2003 Posted October 28, 2003 After running windows XP pro for like 1 months the text on websites seems to get very small... take the windows update page, i can't even read that text anymore... I was wondering what i can do to fix this because it keeps coming back every month and i hate reinstalling XP or even doing system restores (set 1 day back.. takes 1 day for text to go small.. ect) because it comes back no matter what. I don't change any of the IE settings and i use the latest IE with all the updates.
Guest FxXP Posted October 28, 2003 Posted October 28, 2003 If you've got a scroll mouse, just look at a webpage then press the CTRL key and scroll up. This works on HTML based pages, but may not work on PHP pages.
d3bruts1d Posted October 28, 2003 Posted October 28, 2003 Inside IE Vew > Text Size > Medium (or larger) As FxXP said, you can do it with Ctrl + Scroll.... back eons ago when I did use IE, I found myself accidentlly doing this all the time. Louie57703 Posted October 28, 2003 Posted October 28, 2003 Even with text size on Largest, the font is still so small it looks like a line more than text.... really it didn't help.
syneze Posted October 28, 2003 Posted October 28, 2003 Try this Louie start -> settings -> control panel -> internet options -> accessibility (the button on the general tab) -> check the "ignore font sizes specified on web pages" box.
