Cooling For A 2800 Xp+

I just got an 2800 XP+ and I am going to be overclocking it, but I am not sure what fan and heatsink to get for it. I am NOT going to use the one that it comes with, I know that much for sure. I looked around at reviews, but I wanted to hear from people who use the stuff. If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them. Money is not a problem. Thanks.

If you want to get the best of it , get something good thermalrights or the swiftech MCX line with a good fan on both

Theremalright SLK-900A & a 92mm fan.

 

I'm useing a SLK-900U with a Zalman 92mm on a 2500+ OCed to 3200+ & under load temps are around 36'C

really? with that kind of cooling> i would expect your temps to be lower

 

i also have a 2500+ with a 3200+ overclock [200 x 11] and i get temps of 28C and 31 or 32C at load

 

this is all with a volcano 11, however my room is also kept cool

I got the SLK-947 for my Asus board to get around the bent capacitor problem- My temps around 35c idle/24c board. But I have a thoroughbred B cpu so temps do seem to run higher than bartons.

bartons actually run hotter. the extra cache really heats things up over the tbreds. id get a slk800,900 with a good fan and fancontroler. or the swiftech 462v with a 60cfm 90mm fan
