SVTSupermaxx Posted October 27, 2003 Posted October 27, 2003 I'm debaing getting a Powercolor 9800 Pro 128mb(about $320). Does anyone have the Powercolor and do you like it? Or is there something on the rise and I should wait just a lil longer before I buy a new card?
FanATIc205 Posted October 27, 2003 Posted October 27, 2003 any 9800pro would be a good card. if price is a issue the 9800pro saphire on the 9700pcb for 300bucks from newegg is a great deal. thou if you can spend more hercules or gigabyte seem to be great overclockers

GmAz Posted October 28, 2003 Posted October 28, 2003 I have a powercolor. SOrry Mist, but my powercolor has samsung ram on it. its a ncie card, and I ran Max Payne 2 in 1280x1024 with all details on max including 6x AA and 16 sample filtering. Its a nice card. Mist Posted October 28, 2003 Posted October 28, 2003 hmm i have a 9600 pro 256 mb (god rest its silicon soul) and it uses elixer a friend of mine has another radeon but not the same modelt type as mine and he says it uses elixer. If it uses samsung then go for it as the only thing i found dissapointing in powercolor was ram.
