Blaise Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 You may notice a very small increase due to the nVidia driver (since the 84 series) being dual-core aware.
Sorrento Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 Sorrento, I play a ton of BF2 and notice that it does indeed play smoother, as does FEAR. Hell, I play BF2 at 1600X1200 and just about every goody on high and still manage almost 100 fps. Do you have a favorite BF2 server? I'll try and find you in there sometime so we can frag fest together. I can be found in GAK Server quite a bit. My handle is BF2Razorback. Could you please spell your handle better... maybe send it thru PM, cause I searched for you and I couldn't find you. Btw, I use http://bf2tracker.com

Sorrento Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 With CAPS actually... and yep, just tried BF2 on a similar computer (less video card) with a 2.9 ghz 3700+ and it is clearly restricted by the cpu in comparison to a dual core.
