Yes...but its not really a fair question since I'm using an Intel. :)

 

Quite a bit more risk involved, probably only a 5% success rate or something.

 

If they used thermal paste instead of solder it woulda been gone before I even made sure it worked.

Mine's on for another day or 2#. Then it comes off along with the XP90 and the "Tornado". The "Storm" will go on. I sure hope it helps.

it sure will specially under water :D

I see gains of 100Mhz+ and 2-5C drop in load.

I don't believe its worth the hassle for a 100 MHz more speed and a 2c to 5c drop in temps when AMD is good for 70c MAX, most stay well under that with stock HSF!
