pallys Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Hi, RMA'd my G.Skill 4400 LE TCCD as a stick went bad. since they are no longer manufactured, I have been offered: G.Skill PC3200 2GB HX (2x 1024MB) or G.Skill 1GBFC PC4400 2.5-4-4-8 Since the 2 GB set wont run at higher HTT I was thinking of going for the 2GB and then running it on dividers... to OC my Opteron 144. Does that sound plausible, what would you guys go for ? Cheers.
calvintang Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 G.Skill 1GBFC PC4400 2.5-4-4-8 its more overclockable.. gives you head room for future upgrades edit... my eyes betrayed me.. 2gigs is the way to go these days... if you cant overclock it.. .put it on a divider.
