I am looking to buy a 2x1gb pc 4000 on a 200 dollar budget. I am wanting to get ocz. What ram is best for overclocking in this price range? I have looked at the ram guide and I still cant decide which is best for my rig. I might even be able to come up with a few more bucks But I still don't know if I should get platinum or gold TCCD/UCCC or BH-5/CH-5 and so forth. Please Help

Welcome to the "Street"!

As you can see in my sig, I have the OCZ Gold Gamer XTC. It is great up to about 259, but then it won't boot. So I simply used a divider (180 : 9/10 = 246) and am running the FSB/HTT at 270 x 10.

O.K. I have stretched my budget to 250 so which ocz pc4000 should I get for that? Platinum or gold? Thanx for the welcome. I have read so much on here and have found a bunch of helpful threads and guides but I am just not sure about the ram part. Because the chips in them vary so much.

Can't really go wrong with any of the kit's you mentioned, may want to look at the G.Skill HZ's SeanDude mentioned. Dont know how good teamgroup is but may be worth looking at as well, they tell you exactly which chips are in which kit.
