JoBlo69 Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 i DL the floppy rais drivers for my expert board... i copyed all the raid files onto my floppy disk, then when i try to install them by pressing F6 i can get into the setup screen where it says s=specify driver, but when i put the floppy into the drive and press enter for it to look for the raid files on the floppy it says almost right away that im missing a .oem file... iv confirmed that both my floppy disk and drive works fine... i even bought a new drive, but still the same error... i installed windows before with the floppy method, and i dont remember ever seeing that i need a .oem file... and it worked before i updated the bios to latest build... really the onything thats different from the last time i had this working is when i was running the release bios... the only thing i chanhed was the bios... and now my raid drivers dont work anymore... watsonte Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 I hat floppy disks and I have had this problem before...nlite is your answer...Slipstream the raid drivers into your windows install and you wont have to worry about disks any longer... Just google nlite and you will find it, along with detailed and easy to follow instructions
