3721 Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Hello Everyone: I just updated my mobo Bios 2 days ago, (Update to 2006/04/06 by Winflash),that time every thing was OK. And second day after I was playing Titan Quest around 10 mins, system just reboot, and back to the desktop, Windows shows a system just crashed, and have a error report have to send, and I pressed send, firefox opened a windows online crash analysis page, http://oca.microsoft.com/en/response.aspx?SGD=b06d3c6f-f1cc-45bd-9026-f72383e5ccb3&SID=11 ://http://oca.microsoft.com/en/respons...e5ccb3&SID=11 , error message is: Error Message: STOP 0x000000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER (Q293078) and solution is Install the most current driver for your video card or Manually decrease Hardware Acceleration for your video adapter. That doesnt make sense, I updated my mobo Bios, and now Windows say your video diver caused the windows crash. And I was using 91.31 for my video card. After that, i was try to fix it by myself. I updated my mobo Bios to 3/29/2006(i forgot which vision i was using before.) by flash memory, not Winflash. And I also changed my video card's drive, from 91.31 ->84.21. But that problem still there. Please Help Me~~~~

unleashed Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Clear the CMOS after a bios flash. 2 or 3 minutes is enough. Internal timings and settings (ones you can't see) will be left from the old bios. Also with a new bios internal timings will change and the settings that worked with your old bios may not work with the new bios. 3721 Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 um.... I cleared my CMOS followed by http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showpost.p...04&postcount=24 BUT, The reboot problem still there, system reboot every time run a game, NFS9, or Titan Quest, 2-5 Mins later. And I found my ram speed(TCL=2.5, TRCD=3,Tras=8 and TRP=3) looks soo high, I beleve Tras should around 6. Does that cause system reboot?? And How can i set it back? Thank You

Guest BFG Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 It seems like yuor graphics card is causing the problem. Have you tried installing some diferent drivers like something from the 80.xx Be sure to use driver cleaner pro when removin the old drivers.
