likewhoa Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 Alot of you got one of the Nvidia 7900 Series Cards with problems as stated in this thread. I got the 7900GTX EGS "Reload" Part# .512-P2-N571-BR. This thread is here so that everyone can compare 3dmark results nothing else. long discussions about overclocking these cards can be made here. Post a picture/link or just text showing your 3dmark05 and 3dmark06 results at stock speeds and your current overclock results as well. I hope that in time everyone can determent that these new cards with the Infineon Memory are a good change instead of those with Samsung Memory atleast for long-term usage at high clocks. I hope that these cards will perform good and that hopefully we can eventually change the timings on them with Nibitor. P.S Only post results if you gotten any of the new cards below: 7900 GT Series New part number - Existing part number 256-P2-N580-AR - 256-P2-N560-AX/BX/DX 256-P2-N582-AR - 256-P2-N562-AX/BX/DX 256-P2-N583-AR - 256-P2-N563-AX/BX/DX 256-P2-N584-AR - 256-P2-N564-AX/BX/DX/FX 7900 GTX Series New part number - Existing part number 512-P2-N571-AR/BR - 512-P2-N570-AX likewhoa

Redbeaver Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 like u said at evga forum, likewhoa... that score is pretty low for a GTX.... back to topic, the Superclock series (N565,567) will be replaced with the same number, but -B1 ending... i.e. old - new N565-AX/BX - N565-B1 N567-AX/BX - N567-B1 my card will be here in a day or two.... likewhoa Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 seems alot of people still not pushing there cards far enough to encounter these faults with this series.
Vanne Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 I had the same probs in going from Single to SLi, however, not one of my cards had issues when in single mode, unly when SLi-ing. Anyways, sorted it by upping the PCI-e bus to 115mhz. now 3dmark06 9324mhz http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=442018 No lock ups/artifacts at all anymore
Redbeaver Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 got my new card. Still -BX, not -B1, BUT it has the new Infineon RAM, didnt crash on deep freeze altho it has slight artifacts.... clock didnt go far for the core, until i jack up to 1.4, gave about 645 stable no artifacts... BUT the infineon didnt like the high frequency,... dropped to 780, and not a single artifact to be found... was erroring like crazy on ATItool on default 790, but on 785 stable for about 10min... didnt check any longer, its good enuf for me... likewhoa Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 my 3dmark05 got 10,500.... its nice to know my card worth alittle over a GTX lol, well that shouldn't be happening with stock speeds.. you got yourself a nice GT I'll be getting my Reload this week to see if it will scale like my old GTX "Reload" which gave me 9090 in 3dMark05 which was not acceptable at a 721/935 OC and even smaller scores at stock speed. My 7800GT gave me better scores. I still have faith this time around I'll get a good board. This will be my Second RMA btw. Again good to see your Reload Card is kicking arse. Keep on cranking it up.,
SeanDude05 Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 I am getting an RMA'd eVGA 512-P2-N571-AR 7900GTX. I have my XFX running right now, but will remove it and run 3dmark on the new eVGA once it comes. Does it still count?
