well actually im planning on getting water cooling too very soon. and i was doing some research. put some water wetter inside your water. also used distilled water. i know swiftech makes uv green water water. and redline makes water wetter.

you can find these @ www.frozencpu.com i think they run for 10$ for a 12oz bottole or something. i cant remember the amount.

its funny how u say that you are afraid that green algea will form in your WC. You probably havent been in school long if you are saying that. Take your 10th grade Biology course or use common knowledge... algea (if thats how u even spell it) forms in water when other micro-organisms are present and there's enough resources to allow it to reproduce. But for water systems, you first off are supposed to use de-ionized /or/ distilled water; whereas, no organisms are supposed to exist. And plus, when running the cpu, the water is so hot that algea cannot exist, well green algea that is. So try remembering not to say that algea will form in your water cooling system, bc its not true.

don't be so afraid to use puncuation. i'm no english gastapo but i hope you don't talk like without breathing.

while alge doesn't form...coorsion can...and very rapidly due two there being more then one type of metal present in the system.

water wetter seems to be the accepted best anti "growth" additive, but antifreeze works well too

i'm no english gastapo

as you can see i wasn't claiming perfection, but a comma, period or line break every now and then helps to break up different thoughts in a statement.

once again let me reiterate...i'm not complainging about typos, spelling errors or incorrect usage of the english language. i will be the first to tell you i tend to leave words out and misspell common words. I'm merely stating that the post by justin were more difficult to read due to the lack of any kind of seperation other the a space between words.

i don't know how i manged to get thought that without swearing...excuse me while i punch a hole in the wall

Back on topic, I use windshield washer fluid because I have an anluminum Radiator and a copper block. At first I was using just plain water, mainly because I was in a hurry to get things up and running. It then produced a brown substance that stained all of the tubes in my system. I then had to try and flush out all that crap. So after using windshield washer fluid, I find it works just great and doesn't produce the brown oxidization junk or whatever it was.

i know some people are saying water wetter and some anti freeze. (oooo a period wow never used that before lol) so does waterwetter help kill whatever is in the line ive never really heard it did that. also does a res add air bubbles to the system ive heard it does any input on that would help. thanxs for all the help guys your all a life saver.

water wetter doesn't kill anything...provided you used clean water (distilled) there isn't anything "living" in it. when there is more then one type of metal used (especially aluminum and copper) coorsion get acceratorated. (think of it as rusting really fast). water wetter, antifeeze, and other similar products made for car cooling systems (never heard of winshield wiper fluid, but wheverworks) prevent this.

I've always though of a res as helping reduce airbubles, in my system it takes maybe 5 mins to bleed them all out (with a res).
